Volkan Hamamcıoğlu
Founder | European Patent Attorney | Turkish Patent & Trademark Attorney | UPC Representative | epi Tutor
He graduated from Mechanical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University in 2007 and he completed his master's degree in the same school and department in 2010. He started his career as a Patent Engineer at Arçelik A.S. in 2011 and continued as the Patent Team Leader between 2016-2021.
He became a Turkish Patent and Trademark Attorney in 2011 and European Patent Attorney in 2018. He also has a University Diploma in “Patent Litigation in Europe” from the University of Strasbourg, Center for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) and became a registered representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
Between 2019 and 2022, he worked as a coach in the Candidate Support Project (CSP) of the European Patent Office (EPO) and as a technical expert before the Intellectual Property Courts in Istanbul. He is currently a tutor at the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (epi) and a lecturer at Istanbul Bilgi University, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. He is a Board Member at the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) Türkiye and a Counsil Member at the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (epi).
Selin Özel
Turkish & European Patent Attorney
Selin Özel graduated from Department of Chemical Engineering at Ege University, in 2013. In the same year, she started working as an Assistant Patent Expert at Patent Care Intellectual Property and Consulting Company.
In 2015, Selin started to work as a Patent Expert at Panasonic Eco Solutions Turkey and then worked as an Intellectual Property Expert at Özyeğin University Technology Transfer Office. Between 2017-2019, she completed her master’s degree in business law at Istanbul Bilgi University. Between 2018 and 2023, Selin worked at Arçelik A.S. Intellectual Property team and joined InPera IP team as of July 2023. In 2017, she became a Turkish Patent Attorney and in 2023 she became a European Patent Attorney.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Hamamcıoğlu
Consultant
Esra Hamamcıoğlu graduated from the Faculty of Law of Marmara University and completed her master's and PhD degrees at the Institute of Social Sciences (Private Law) of Marmara University.
Hamamcioglu has articles published in various magazines and actively works on trademark, design and copyright issues. She is a member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) Turkey.
